Spalding

Only 15 minutes drive or by regular bus service, Spalding is a beautiful small market town with many individual shops and cafes. Ayscoughfee Hall Museum and gardens is a major attraction, or simply browse for bargains at the Springfields Outlet Centre. A fun feature is the Spalding Water taxi that shuttles between the town and the outlet centre.

Boston

Visit Boston - For the "Stump" or see where the Quakers were held at the Boston Guildhall

Above is a lucky shot of 2 Euro Fighter Typhoons shadowing a WW II Spitfire, I suspect those Typhoon pilots were struggling to fly so slowly.

Long Sutton Butterfly Centre

See one of the last remaining Lancaster bombers and several Spitfires at the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Walk in the footsteps of Mr D’Arcy, a gem of a countryhouse that’s got to be part of any visit to the area.
